Serj poetry

I know this is not new either but anyway, we need sth to discuss, sooo....

How do you like Serjs poetry? Do you have a favourite poem and if yes, why do you like it best?

My favourite is Circus Tiger because there so much truth in it and every time I read it, I wanna give Serj a huuge ghug for writing sth like that

Circus Tiger is also my favorite. It's so damn right and the feeling you get by reading it, good job.

In fact, I like most of his poetry. It's cool that he's able to write stupid stuff like "A metaphor?" next to serious works like "Circus Tiger".
I'm also quiete amazed about the fact, that the poems in ETD are really good. They may just summarize the idea of the song, but in their language they're mostly much better than the lyrics next to it. You can argue if it was a good idea to do so or not. At least Serj made good connections between the songs and the attached poems and Suimmarized his whole idea in a great work.

He's still an amazing writer.

Yeah he is an amazing poet he has an awesome feeling for rhythm and words although English is not even his mother tongue.

And like you said, he mixes serious topics and silly stuff quite well, which reflects his personality... he can both be serious and silly, as we all know

I had a few others, but I forgot about them..

I'll have to re-read Cool Gardens sometime.
